Finding missing friend
9 Answers
An old work colleague and i have kept in touch over the last few years when we both found new jobs.We would usually have 1-2 texts a month and odd email. However I hadnt heard from him for sometime, which i thought was out of character so sent a text which never got replied too. I left it a month and sent another in case he didnt get the first. or was just busy. Knowing him as i do its really out of character not to be in touch - even if he was busy he is the sort of person who would text to say hes busy and would call next week etc.
It then got to 2 months without hearing so i thought i would try and call him but his mobile number now does not work. He works in the police so thinking the worse i was worried something may have happened to him i tried to call his work but told he no longer works there - there was mention of redundencies so assume he may have lost his job. He doesnt use facebook or email very often if at all and knowing he recently moved, i dont have his new address or land telephone number, Im genuinly worried as not heard from him and wondered if anyone had any ideas how i could find out where he now is or if he is ok. The last time we were in contact there was no reason to think i may have offeend him and he is not talking to me and feel a little sad we may now loose touch. Any ideas welcome, thanks

You could try the phonebook for a landline number.
If his phone isn't working, have you tried e.mailing him or messaging him on Facebook. I'd put your number as well in case he has had a phone lost or stolen and doesn't have it anymore. I've lost my numbers a few times through that.
If he was made redundant, could be he has had to change phone/provider, internet etc...

You could try this link if you know where he lives..

You have to pay, but it might be worth it if you're desperate... Good luck..

Thanks for all the suggestions. UNfortunatley I dont think he is in touch with anyone else we used to work with so there is noone else that i know that would be in touch with him. He uses email very rarely but did send me a quick message a couple of weeks back to see if everything was ok - no reply either. I didnt want to appear as some mad stalker person but im just worried something has happened. If he has lost his phone or my number, then I am on faceback and all my emails have my mobile number and address. I dont know where he lives exactly only somewhere in Cheshire!
