If I buy an Apple Powerbook G4 in the US can I use the Wireless internet it has built in in England? Can I use it most other places in Europe like Italy? I am almost positive it has Wireless LAN and Bluetooth when you buy it. Does this mean I would not have to pay for internet through an internet service provider or would I still have to get that installed for my computer and pay that monthly bill? When I use the wireless LAN can I use it in a house or do I have to go to a cafe that is a hotspot in order to get a connection?Thank you!

My first instinct tells me yes. If 802.11a, 802.11b or 802.11g are mentioned in the wireless spec, it will work fine. As will Bluetooth. They are international standards.

You can use 802.11 standards in WiFi hotspots (like hotels, cafes, airports). To use it at home, you will need an ISP account and a wireless access point (AP).
