Looking Good After A Bonk

On the telly (watched more of Cougar Town last night), people sit together in bed, after a bonk, looking like they've just come from the make up room (which they have, of course).

Doesn't it make us feel inferior that they look so ... "composed" ?

Shouldn't they make them up to be all sweaty and sticky, flushed and red in the face, with your hair all bedraggled and stuck to your face, and out of breath ?

I don't feel it's been a 'good one' unless I have mascara streaked down my sweating red face, my hair stuck up all over and I'm alert, yet completely relaxed all at the same time.

I misread the title too.

If you're after a good book, I've finally got round to reading Ghostwritten by David Mitchell. Cracking stuff - although, a little more "blokey" than his later work.

Aaah ... "wet patch management" !

That involves carefully ending up on the other person's side of the bed, so that you can roll back to your own (dry) side when you're done.
