as a girlie...i'm just interested in the dress, romance and princessyness of it all! but please don't tell anyone else...it would ruin my reputation. regardless of who he married - we would still end up paying...and people should really have naturally complained when he was born. the monarchy IS a part of britain and likely to stay for some time to come. so..put up or shut up! if you really want to live in a republic and are a decent upstanding, working briton (as you probably think you are)...go and live in nz or somewhere - better pay, quality of life, and no royals - which you are so fond of moaning about. the class system really is too ingrained in the society currently to do anything about it at the mo.....................pointless discussion and pixels if you arsk me. think of the dresssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!! x
If you divide the total publicly funded part of the costs by the number of UK taxpayer it will be a very small amount each. An absolute bargain to pay for national stability and many millions from export potential.
