I'm watching it again tonight. What a hateful shower of retards these people are. IT is terrible listening to the vile thoughts they are perpetrating onto the poor children they have in the ranks.

Unlike some religious nuts who blow themselves, and innocent people,up or chop peoples heads off in the name of religion.
In the grand scheme of things they aren't that important and should be pitied.
Their protesting at funerals is sick but better policing could easily stop that from happening.

Surely they're only practising more extreme versions of the child abuse that goes on all around us (and is frequently condoned by society).
My cousin (who is an extremely intelligent solicitor) and his wife take their young kids to all sorts of Christian activities and 'retreats'. I regard that as 'indoctrination' and just as offensive as any other form of child abuse (e.g. sexual). In my opinion, anyone who introduces children to religious practices, before they're old enough to make their own minds up about the existence of 'God', is a child abuser.

Yeah Chris, I have very little time for religion and we don't discuss it in the house but my son who is 7 goes to a catholic school and his teacher at the moment is very goddy which is annoying for me, but I don't want to make a scene. I don't want to introduce him to atheism but I hate the idea of these religious thoughts being put into his head at such a vulnerable time in his mind's development.
Thanks for that Flobadob:
The school I taught in completely ignored the 1944 Education Act and excluded both religious assemblies and Religious Education but, eventually a change of head teacher and a few awkward school governors forced the introduction of RE into the curriculum. The newly appointed head of department was initially stunned to be openly referred to as "our authorised child abuser" in staff meetings but soon got used to her lowly status ;-)

to sort of sidetrack a bit....
Flobadob, ifi remember correctly, you deliberately put your child in a Catholic school, because their method of teaching was considered better than other schools in your area by you. Am I correct? I'm sure it was your post some time back in R&S about it. So you cannot now be all offended or put out when the teachers in their are all "Goddy" as you affectionally put it.
Back to topic- no, not seen it, but its bookmarked on IPlayer, will catch up on it later.
