Space shuttle Endeavour....

10 out of 10 for the septics to spell Endeavour correctly on the space shuttle, anyone know why they eschewed the American spelling in this instance?

Its urban sprawl on a mud flat but it has nice points. Driving from here to there is just miles and miles of corn and soybean fields so its pretty dull.

Yes, but Chicago has good shopping! The Water Tower. Mitchigan Avenue. Good blues clubs too.

I have spent a fair amount of time visiting Chicago and it is one of the under-rated cities of the US - The Fine Arts Museum (with the U of C) is tremendous....(and some good restuarants) Fave hotel was the Park Hyatt......

We used to stay (years ago) in the Westin hotel that was opposite the Hancock Tower where Jerry Springer lived. I saw him at work once. He was one of those people who looks completely the same in the flesh than he does on tv

It has its good and bad. The museum of science and industry is my favorite. I had a chance to visit Cabrini Green once with my room mate in college so my image of the city isn't all favorable.

Having been born and raised there (about 3 miles west of Cabrini-Green, I might add), I have to say... underrated? by who? I always thought we were pretty highly rated. Is Chicago relatively unknown compared to NYC or LA amongst you... you.... (ah, can't think of any mildly derogatory rhyming slang for "Britons").

it's not an offensive term it's on a par with "limey" etc I work with Americans and I have never had one find it offensive.

Hehe, sorry about that. I'm not a fan of cities. I've lived in St Louis and Chicago. I spent a few years in Tampa. Tulsa was okay but I really like the field of fire in the country.
