My Dad used to be in the Masons for many years and I remember all the good 'do's we used to have through them. Christmas parties, New Year occasions with a piper at midnight and lots of dances throughout the year - Mum always had lovely dresses to wear. I personally think Dad only joined for the brilliant social life that came with it! I have a very religious aunt and she used to tut tut about him being in the Masons, but I don't know why!
