There was an article on the news the other day about a man who was out rambling naked and got arrested. Quite right too i say. What I want to know is what is the point of it all? What do people get out of going on a special holiday just so they can go around with no clothes every day? I think it must be a mixture of exhibitionism and voyerism.

PUNCTUATION !
"Yeah, but everyone can see you're a nob. "

What would the point be of an exhibitionist exposing him/erself in the nudist colony? I always thought they do those stupid things for the shock effect.

If there is no harm done, I say live and let live.
What's the problem? on a nude beach you take your clothes off, on a non nude beach you leave some on. If you are going to the beach to get a sun tan it seems sensible not to wear clothes. The only problem with nude beaches is cruising gays.
It's not recommended if you are ginger and fair skinned. Someone should really have told my ex before he went to a nudist beach - the burns were particularly nasty....
*snigger*
It's little different to a fair-skinned person being on a sunny beach in a skimpy cossie, though - just slightly more sun-screen required.
I used to go to a nudist beach in the south of France, and it was lovely sunbathing and swimming in the nude..................it was however obviously a 'meeting' place for gay men who kept disappearing into the bushes together.
I think we're a bit uptight about it in UK, possibly to do with the weather. When I holiday in Menorca every single beach is full of naked families, nobody bats anything.

As long as its outside and in a assigned area then each to his own I suppose. Personally, I think people look nicer with some clothes on and I don't want to look at sweaty bodies. As for nudism indoors, such as clubhouses, etc., it just makes me feel quite queasy thinking about them planting their bare bums on chairs that others are going to sit on afterwards. Bare bits just aren't attractive in my opinion.
Naturists carry towels around to sit on for obvious purposes..

I have no idea.

Teenage memories of the first naturist I ever saw will stay with me always. He was wearing a big floppy bright red hat and canary yellow socks whilst riding a windsurfer. Definitely not a pretty sight – but oh, so funny! :o)

Naked bodies, in my opinion, aren’t attractive and should never be inflicted upon the unsuspecting eye. Naturists should spare a thought for the victim. ;o)
Don't people think, little dick, floppy tits etc. Keep your clothes on for me, and your secrets.

Someone has made a hole in the wall around the local naturist colony , the police are looking into it !
Loftlottie has made a good point.

When I'm on a beach I much prefer seeing women in a nice bikini than seeing their puppies out (it obviously goes without saying that I gaze fleetingly from behind sunglasses!).
All over suntan !
Nothing looks or feels as good in the summer as a nice bum tan.
JG I had no idea you were into bum tanning, you seemed to be such a nice girl :-)
Mark - I don't think he applied sunscreen to the relevant 'part' as he was worried about looking like a perv when rubbing it in ;)
