i recently bought myself a new set of tarot cards..called the herbal tarot and i keep shuffling them and then dealing 3 and 2 of the cards keep coming out the same ..this happens no matter how hard i shuffle..and the funny thing is the two herbs featured on those cards are really rampant in my garden in fact they are spreading everywhere.i see this as a sign or a symbol..would any of you see it as significant or just one of those things..no rude replys please as i have read and studied tarot for many a long year ..and i believe in them..i just find it strange that the two herbs are taking over..

their are 78 cards in the pack all with a different herb on it..the two herbs that keep coming out the interpretation for them is right for my circumstances..and the fact that those two herbs are rampant in my garden well its like a sign to me and i shall be using them as a medicinal tea..i have only done this shuffling twice as the cards are new but have also selected a card at random and its been one of them also.and no my garden doesnt need any work doing i am outside gardening every day..and i only grow herbs and wild flowers so anything that spreads can be used in some way..i myself believe its a sign telling me i should take these herbs and i will..one of the reasons i purchased these cards was because i love herbs and thought i would work well with them i think that may be the case when i get enough time to sit and study them.i just wondered what you good people thought whether it was a coincidence or some other explanation..something similar happend last summer i had loads of st johns wort and i just left it to grow and die..then in the winter i found myself buying st johns wort..and i could have harvested the ones i had loads of..so i am very alert to plants telling me things now..
they do have medicinal qualitys..and are both safe to take..as for the shuffling i have only had the cards a week have been to busy to start to look at them i had them in the house and just picked a card at random just to look at them really..then the other day i took them in the garden and shuffled and out came these two cards ..so i thought that was strange as i had a glut of those herbs..so i then reshuffled and out came the same ..then i put them back in the house as i had things to do..i shall have to make time to look at them properly..i have read the cards professionaly for years and sometimes if people asked for a second reading its funny how the message would be similar to the first shuffle..some people are sceptical that is their choice..i myself am open to anything that occurs out of the ordinary..i actually saw these two card with my own eyes and so did mr daisy..so i have proof..but obviously their will allways be doubting thomas around..
Hey Daisy.
I have a similar occurance with mine.
I have the Tarot of the Cat People, this is my fourth set of tarot (i have been using and studying the tarot since i was 9!)
However, i brought the Cat People set just 2 weeks ago, and on the evening i bought them, i sat down to meditate and famiarise myself with the cards. Each card features a cat somewhere on the card, and the 5 of pentacles was the only negative looking picture i could see in the pack.
A scraggly ginger cat was slumped dead on the floor, with a gypsy lady stood over the body, clearly distraught. Above the two are 5 pentacles, pointing to the heavens. In one of the pentagrams, the face of the cat can be seen, glowing above the weeping lady.
I read the divinatory meaning of the card, it symbolises the desperation of a loss, and foretells that despite the misery, hope remains (the hope is symbolised in the fact that in all the misery the cat has risen, and is watching over her.)
As soon as i saw the card, i felt a strong sense of sadness.... i joked to myself - it'll be just my luck to get that card in a reading. It seems so dismal.
My father was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour last year in may. He may have as little as 3-5 weeks left. These last 2 weeks, i have been by his side in hospital every day, as he sleeps a lot, i pass the time with the tarot.
I recon i have been doing an average of around 4 spreads a day, for a mixture of asking questions, and just general readings.......The spreads have varied from 3 card readings, to the celtic cross.
4 spreads a day, for 13 days - you do the maths.
I have pulled out the 5 of pentacles on EVERY single spread bar ONE (in which i was asking about my future marriage to my fiance this coming september.)
