The question is 'What is the long curved lake in Regent's Park called?' but I don't think it has a particular name other than the Boating Lake.

Perhaps the question should read Hyde Park rather than Regent's Park. In which case, the answer would be The Serpentine.

What do you Londoners think? Is there a particular name for the Regent's Park lake?

Thanks for your suggestions.

The Boating Lake going by google maps
I've always known it as the boating lake.
TheRoyalParks.org call it The Boating Lake so I doubt it has another name, whether there is a nickname or not, who knows.

Thank you. Yes, that's what i thought. I bet the person who set the question meant to say Hyde Park rather than Regnet's Park.

Or even Regent's Parkl!
If you're looking for the name of a long curved lake I would suggest they've mixed up their parks and you want the Serpentine in Hyde Park, I lived in Primrose Hill for a while and never heard the other one called anything but the Boating Lake.
Yes, they mean Hyde Park, surely. Regent's Park's is the Boating Lake. (And Regnet is the website of Reg, who hires out the boats).

Thank you all. I'm putting The Serpentine and am altering Regent's Park to read Hyde Park.
