i like 3 quarter length trousers - they are pretty standard attire in films an tv crew.

in answer to your question - because they want to, and there are no set rules to this, no matter how much you may think there should be

I really do wish someone would challenge the arbitrary and sexually prejudiced judgment that men can go topless in public but it is indecent for a woman.

Ironically a woman can have a valid reason to expose her chest in public (breastfeeding) while there is none for a man.

Has anyone considered, people who aren't particularly bothered by what they wear have a total freedom of mind & are not constrained by thoughts & worries of how others view them? That's not a criticism by the way doctor, just a different view on things.
