Weigh it , all gas canisters tell you the number of Kilos of gas in them when full . You need an empty canister to get the empty weight, then if the empty weight is 5 kg and it contained 13kg gas full the total full weight is 18Kg . If for example yours weighs 10Kg then there is 5Kg of gas left.
Most canisters also have the 'Tare' weight on them this is the weight empty so as long as yours shows the 'Tare' weight all you need to do is weigh it .Bathroom scales are accurate enough for this . Just deduct the Tare weight from the total weight and that is the weight of gas left.

Here in the U.S. a screw on pressure guage is available for abou $10.00. It simply, as the name implies, screws onto the bottle with a threaded end for the burner hose to screw on. Works well and is quite accurate.
We have the same device already built into larger bottles (500 gallon). It is red and green color coded but has a needle that indicates volume remaining as well...
