I suppose it depends on your character and on your parents for a start.
My parents largely treated me as a little adult . I was expected to sort out all my own problems as a result I never look or expect others to help. This independence also means some difficulty in socialising . In business I found it difficult to delegate responsibility which of course increases ones workload .
In times of trouble it would have been nice to have had a sibling to discuss/share the problem with. At least I think so but I find talking to my daughters about a problem rarely helps it only confuses the matter so maybe having siblings isn't necessarily an asset.
