Anyone know how to stop the very annoying Red Button 'thing' that comes up regularly on BBC channels during sports, and means having to use the remote to get rid of it.

If you are using a Sky box then you can set it to remove the prompt after a given number of seconds.

Thanks for the advice! I have no Sky box. I think it's really sad that the BBC cannot just put it on for a few seconds, then turn it off. I'm always losing the remote!
