This lady was on the radio this morning and said she used to play football and the other players called her Ginge. When asked who came up with that nickname she said "I Did". So if the bank employee had just called her Ginge, it would have been OK.

This reminds me of a former teaching colleague, a large ginger-haired lady whose presence intimidated the children, but who was really one of the sweetest, kindest ladies you could ever hope to meet. One morning she came into school and said that she had been elevated to the peerage. When I asked for an explanations, she said, "Come outside".
