Vodafone contracts!
2 Answers
I'm 20months into my vodafone contract but have lost my job!
I need to downgrade my tariff as I have no income at the moment
My wife is still on maternity until 10th December! All I've asked for is a little
Bit of help off vodafone to knock my tariff down until I'm back up n running
On my feet again but they basically said I shouldn't have
Taken a 24month contract out if I couldn't pay it for the full term!!!!
How the hell was I to know I was going to lose my job!! I was furious!!! Is there anything I can do???

They said customers are only allowed to increase minutes and go up to a different tariff but i cant decrease and go for a cheaper tariff!! and they had the cheek to suggest i cancel my contract and pay few hundreds pounds cancelation fee!
I had a similar issue with sky and managed to get a decent reduction for 6 months. If the contract is coming up for renewal they will want you to stay. Say that if they can do something now and find a suitable cheaper tariff for the next contract you will renew with them. They might even bring forward the transfer date. it's worth asking.
But if it's for 4 months now how much are you hoping to reduce it by? I know money's tight but maybe the savings are relatively small and there are more achievable ways of saving money for a few months.
