does the first brand of cigarette you smoked feel the best?

Yeah, I always smoke Royals (although tend to smoke Marlb. lights now) but other brands just never seem the same.
Nowt like your regular brand. I read somewhere if you give up at 50 your life is shortened by 10y. I better carry on.
I don't like normal ciggies and much prefer roll ups, if I smoke a normal ciggie now then it actually makes me feel a bit sick and they smell really strong.
You say that criticism is accepted.

You are a very naughty boy.

That was in Marlboro Weekly, was it?
No. I started off on B&H and Silk cut (pinched from my nan!). Moved on to those small Embassy ones. I had a friend who smoke Marlboro lights... I could not stand them.. even if desperate for a ciggie, i thought they tasted awful.
When I was pregnant i did not smoke till around 6 months gone when I craved a cigarette! Had one of my mums Marlboro lights and loved it! Carried on with them till I quit 5 years ago.... LOL
Non- smoker now, and thankful for it :)

When I did smoke, my first brand was John Player Special in those smart black glossy packs - but then I moved to B&H Special filter and stayed with them forever. Moved to baccy myself shortly before quitting on the grounds of cost, but always had a hankering for the B&H.
When i was smoking there was a brand called PASHA they should bring them back today for people who want to stop smoking, they were revolting.
I switched from Regal King size to Golden Virginia. After smoking the rolling tobacco for a while if I had a cigarette it seemed tasteless. I've stopped now.
I'm the opposite of ChinaDoll. When I've tied to be more economic and started rolling my own, I always feel like a "proper" cig afterwards.
In answer to your question, I will smoke the cheapest of the medium strength ones. JPS Blue, Windsor Blue, Mayfair etc.
Showing your age dorromay - I remember them too!
OK Wharton, three score years and ten plus five what about TURF they were just as bad.
I stopped smoking a month ago, before that my brand was Richmond superkings, If I was skint and had to go for a cheaper brand I was very happy to get back to my usual one.
What were those different coloured ones (pink, green etc..) called, with the gold butts? My nan always had them on special occassions!
Sobranie
^^^^ Oooh, posh bird!
dorromay, I can remember when you could buy a single cigarette with a match, and I agree about TURF - Woodbine was my 1st.
The different coloured ones were Sobranie Cocktail, if I remember right.
The black ones with the gold filter end were lush :-)

Mr Alba smoked B&H, and he says he doesn't have a smokers cough. I smoked whatever I could afford. We are now both on roll-ups, tips and machine.
A real cigarette seems too big for my mouth now.
Used to by a box of those of a Saturday night CD. Made me feel dead "Posh" :o)

Shame the rest of me never caught lived up to the fags :o)
