Why Do People Buy So Much Food At Christmas?
46 Answers
I have seen them in the supermarket sometimes with two trollies absolutely piled high with food and drink, why? Half of it will be thrown away, it's ridiculous, especially when the shops will actually only be closed for two days, you would think they were stocking up for the winter. Why not just buy the normal amount of food you can actually eat without going overboard and wasting any? People are so stupid, they are like sheep.

Talking, relaxing, playing games, going for walks, re-connecting, having fun with children, helping them with hobby stuff which they may have received. Cooking together. Could go on... Not dashing off to the nearest supermarket. Shopping is boring, if a necessity.
I'm having 9 people over for Christmas dinner when there are normally two of us. I'm also having probably the same number again for a buffet on Boxing Day and yes, there would normally ony be two of us on that day too. Yes I buy too much but never in a million years will any of it end up in the bin. Don't you dare judge me!
