Everything about you says something about you. We all make initial judgments based on what is displayed: clothes, hairstyle, voice, accent, body language, etc. This has to suffice until we know a person better.
Baseball caps, trainers, tattoos and mohican haircuts are as much a uniform as sports jackets, collar-and-tie, neat haircuts and polished leather shoes.
