My husband and I lost our first baby to stillbirth three months ago. He would have been due 17th June, which is the day after father's day. I seem to have gotten most of the attention in all this, given everything I went through, so I was thinking of getting my husband a little something to show that even though our son died, he is still a dad. The trouble is, I have no idea what to get. I don't have a dad myself so I'm rubbish at picking out father's day gifts. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm sure this is the kind of gesture my husband will appreciate and he won't be upset by it.

I think if you gave him a card he would be delighted, im sorry about your baby. what about a picnic on fathers day, if the weather is bad , have it in the house, ,
firstly Betty, may i offer my deepest sympathy to you and him, on your loss

why not surprise him by booking a table at a very good restaurant for a special meal?
Does he wear jewerlly (sp) perhaps a st Christopher or a signet ring?
Maybe not for you....but for me....I would buy a photo frame or something similar...a keepsake with a photo...maybe even one with Daddy on it. Then, I would buy the silly or corny...eg....joke/cartoon socks and I would buy them every year as the fun present from the son...who was of course his son and will always be....
I am sorry for your loss...been in that situation so I do know how you are feeling....and why you want to do this...Love Gx
Just thinking about it it is a lovely way yo mark your and his loss, how about naming a star in his and the babies name?

What about a key fob or something metal engraved with 'To Daddy, love from name'.
