Hypocrisy

I feel I can say this as I wasn't in any way associated with (or indeed contributing to) the relevant threads ...
... but this does rather stick in my throat.
Some of the exact same people (hello kylesmum) are
1.Telling QoM that she must grow up and learn lessons from the fairly 'robust' criticisms on her "Wee Rant" thread
2. Describing people who said the pretty much same things to a certain ex-user as "Sickening Vultures circling their target"
It's either fair game to "tell hard truths" or it's not - let's have some consistency chaps please ...

Sorry CD - I perhaps I should have been clearer.
I am making a general point - "forthright and robust replies are to be expected in CB" - I do this myself and 100% agree with the principle - and expect my share of flak from others.
What I won't put up quietly with is people being hopelessly inconsistent and saying that "it's OK for this user, but not for that one" - which is precisely what kylesmum effectively did last night.

I find this post to be unfair on kylesmum - is she around to defend herself? Don't think she is, would have been fairer to wait until she was about rather than discussing her 'short comings' in her absence.
As to you not putting up with 'people being hopelessly inconsistent' - tough. If you don't like a reply, comment about it at the time or report it.
