It's an incredibly arduous process to get a warrant - convincing various Palace committees that you are worthy and honourable/ethical - then when you get through this, the respective Royal has the final say and say they do, apparently.

Chalres already gives royal warrants so I suppose if he became king they'd just stay on. But they'd be "by appointment to King Charles" rather than "to the Prince of Wales". And the queen's ones would lapse.

I find it interesting that DHL holds a Royal Warrant. It suggests that the Royal Household doesn't trust Royal Mail with their parcels!
