Hi, we are planning getting married in alberta/rockies canada in march next year. We are wanting a white wedding obviously. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good location to get married? Havn't been out to visit yet going in november, any suggestions would be much appreciated. Looking for something in the country quiet and peaceful.
Thanx cheryl

It's not far from Calgary, which is a major city for transportation and shopping. In the link, be sure to check Guest ranches and look at Aurum Lodge... Best wishes!

I would seriously recommend Jasper, although it does depend on your budget, as it will most likely still be ski season. The Jasper Park Lodge I would recommend. It is just beautiful, nestled in the mountains with a gorgeous big blue lake. The weather is most likely sunny and blue, the air is so crisp and clean. The rooms are lovely and the many communal areas are so lovely and cosy, big sofas, lots of fireplaces, etc. I was there in December this year, the lake was frozen and we could walk across it!! It was just outstanding. It is probably a bit pricey, but if you can afford it it wouldbe the perfect location. It is not far at all from the rest of Jasper where accomodation for guests may be cheaper if necessary!
When you go in november you can go visit the lodge just for the day , sit in the big lounge and have a hot chocolate, watch the heated outdoor swimming pool steaming in the cold...you will fall in love with it. I'm jealous..
