Milk Bottle Collection On Hoarder Show
3 Answers
they have split it all up, and even begun using them again for milk!
i totally understand the mans need to get rid of them but surely some dairy or milk manufacturer etc would have been a better option to take them?
it seems such a shame to split them!
surely someone somewhere could have displayed them!
made like a little museum out of them, you will never see such a collection again.
i find it so sad, when someone has spent all that time getting them together to just disperse them.
I missed half the show - did they even try that?

His was a proper collection, not like the others who were hoarders and had other problems. The only problem with the bottles was a lack of space, they should have tried harder to keep the collection together.
Some people have sad lives I cannot believe that anyone would take up space by collecting milk bottles, and I wonder if he is still married or ever got that far. But the beauty of a milk bottle is in the eye of the beholder. The only way I can suggest that this prized collection is not split up is to take the lot to the nearest Indian/Chinese/Turkish Restaurant and stick a carnation (one per bottle) and put them on the tables. Or to the local hospital for use of bedbound male patients........Or...take the whole lot and dump them in the local tip (Glass, bottles only).
AYG - these were not just loads of milk bottles!
do you really think id be suggesting a museum for a load of generic bottles?
they were collected for many years from all over the world, they had commemorative ones, ones with ads on, unusual, rare, old - all had some kind of printing on
they were a proper collection - all kept very clean and in good nick.
