My Ex Bf Is Stalking Me And I Dont Know What To Do Plz Help
12 Answers
Yesterday, my ex called me for the seventh time this week. Like every time he called, he purposely used a different person’s phone just so I could answer. I’m terrified of him because he’s a drunk and he’s desperate which is even worse. Terrible thing is, he’s also a violent drunk, and all three traits together make the worst kind of person to have as an ex. You see, a long time ago (one week, but it seems like an eternity), we broke up over a stupid argument. We were fighting over the remote. He wanted to watch wrestling and I wanted to watch the news. Of course, since he was drunk, I didn’t take him seriously and took the remote from him. He started cussing me out and then it escalated into a physical fight when he slapped me. After a rough fight, I woke up in the morning in his bed and I was covered in bruises and my face was covered with blood. I then realized he had beaten me unconscious and probably took advantage of me while I was out. I didn’t report it, mainly because I’m only seventeen and the authorities would have probably told my parents and then gotten him arrested. I know that’s a good thing, but he isn’t the type of person that lets things go easily and he may somehow get out of jail and get revenge and my head would be on a plate because my parents would know that I’ve not been the little princess they think I am.
I’m scared that one day he’ll get me and won’t let me go alive. What can I do without telling the authorities or my parents??

Your parents are not stupid and probably have some idea of what goes on in your relationship. What they will be hugely upset about is you being threatened and beaten by this person and they will want to protect you. If you still live at home they will have noticed your beaten up face so I am sure there will have been some discussion on the bruising etc. I think it is time to confide in them ... they will be far more worried about your safety than whether you have slept with someone. Let them help you ... and if he is reported and the police are involved it may protect another young woman from his behaviour in the future
This is an assault you need to tell the police now!
Once they know what he is doing they can warn him to stop and if he does not stop he will get an injunction telling him to stop and if he still contacts you he will be arrested. In the meantime get a new phone no by buying a new SIM and putting it in your phone then only tell people you can trust your new number. If it is a contract phone and will not take a new SIM, call your phone company and ask for a new number and tell them why you need it.

Your case is very similiar to what one of my daughters went through, she could not get rid of him, apparently, his ex with whom he had 2 children had to get an injunction on him in the end.
He was a really nice thoughtful person when sober and been well brought up...but it was drink...I have to admit my daughter was as bad for drinking.
However, that is in the past and she now has a nice man who seem to be keeping her on the straight and narrow...he even wants to marry her.
I have another post going about her"Provisional Driving Licence".
Luvy, you really must go and report him...get something done, you cannot go on like this and if your parents find out, they will go through hell worrying...I know we did.

First, stop answering your Mobile phone. Tell all your family that they need to text you, asking you to call them. Extend this to trusted friends. If you don't answer the phone, he can't harm you in that way.
You then need to go straight to a Police station and make a formal complaint of harassment. Better you parents be a trifle put out that you are not a angel, rather than them visiting you in Hospital, or worse, arranging your funeral.
You should have done this a long time ago, and I am finding it very difficult to understand why you continued to allow yourself to have any contact whatsoever with a person of this type. Do the right thing now, and you may save other potential victims, as well as yourself.
