OMG I tuned into Status Quo Acoustic in Concert The 2 Lead Vocalists should stick to good old Rock and Roll both a struggling to reach the correct notes ,
Question how many musicians doe's it take to make a song sound tuneful
Answer In Status Quo's case MANY more.
Thoughts please.

I love Status Quo but I am a great believer that you should stick with what you are good at and ,they are a very good rock and roll band ,once one treads outside of one's comfort zone it shows ...they sounded like a very large Folk Group. I listened to a Stripped Down version from their new CD of Pictures Of Matchstick Men it actually sounded quite nice ,Is that what we really want quite nice .
My other problem is normally in the Band there are 5 Acoustic or Stripped Down there were approx 15. I know which one I prefer.

I saw them doing their usual stuff a couple of years ago in York. I said at the time, "Francis Rossi is an OK guitarist, but Rick Parfitt was barely adequate". It's a good job they have some decent session men behind them.
