Anybody Up For Roasting A Few Vandals?

There's report on Spotlight (BBC S-West) that vandals have burnt poppy wreathes on the memorial in Crediton.

Unbelievable.

Roasting of them good enough or other tortures that you can come up with?

I would rather let the police investigate and then hand to the CPS for justice to be done.

Make them watch factual films of war and get veterans of all ages and conflicts to speak to them about the horrors of battle.

When I was in the USSR in the 70s most places had what was called "The Board of Shame" in a prominent place in which people (mostly adolescents) guilty of anti-social behaviour were caricatured and named. A common threat to those misbehaving was, "You will end up on the Board of Shame".

or it could be the name of a tribe - German - and there arent many germans words recorded BC - which meant wanderer.

When I was seven, during a wet lunchtime I wrote a naughty word on the teacher's blackboard, which I quickly erased. However, as with all kids of that age I was grassed up and sent to the Headmistress who made me say out loud the word I had written. When asked why, I said,"Just for fun, miss".
