As we are all individuals, why is there such a unified consensus on what constitutes female ( and male) beauty ?

ummm - I find aspects of women that they think are imperfecti0ons, to be appealing.
I can imagine that Megan Markle from Suits -

went through agonies of insecurity as a teenager because she has a bump in her nose.
She is of course a gorgeous woman, and I find her bumpy nose really attractive.
Similarly, Alison King from Corrie -

probably hated her pale skin, her wide eyes, her full lips and strong nose, and once again, she has grown into one of the sexiest women on television.
If any ladies out there like Paul McKenna, I am his doppleganger!

No it isn't, its personality that matters once you have made the initial contact with a person that YOU find physically attractive. In rare cases somebody you don't find physically attractive can grow on you because you click on all other levels, that person then becomes attractive in the long run.
However, what we find attractive is very individual and we should never be told what is attractive.

Ric....I've always been attracted to them. Not necessarily in a sexual way, I just find the colour attractive. But...there are loads of gingers on my maternal side of the family and my partner has way more.
I also like curly hair....but I don't find blonde attractive even though two of my kids are blonde. It look attractive on them though.

There is a hypothosis people subconsciously go for someone who has similar features to their father (women) or mother (men). My husband was once mistaken for my fathers son (if that makes sense) though my husbands mother looked nothing like me -she was slight with dark curly hair while I'm curvy with blond hair so I think that theory is probably a load of rubbish.
I love natural red hair on girls, I often comment on how beautiful it is and always longed for red curly pre Raphaelite hair. Can't stand it on men though.
