My daughter is getting married in church in October. The church is 15 minutes from the venue. Should we have good and bad weather plans for October? Any ideas and inputs about timings etc. would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Bramley.
Just make sure you have some umbrellas available, what more can you do really. Are you walking from church to venue? If so, then you'll need more than brollies.
I got married in early November and had a beautiful (albeit cold) day, not a drop of rain in sight.
IKEA umbrellas are a brilliant idea. Can't afford the £500 johnnies! The venue is about 5 miles so it will be cars. We thought of a Prosecco outside the church while photos etc? Has anyone ideas about timings for photos and reception etc. I've no idea, never noticed what happens at weddings I've been to. Bramley
Hire a bus to take guests from venue to church and return , that way no one gets lost or left out. Parking is normally difficult near churches and may be easier at the venue. Bus hire would be less than £500 .
