Dragons' Den on Sunday new series with three new Dragons, noisy loud background music made it uncomfortable to watch when will programme makers realise that we don't need dramatic music in programmes we want to hear the dialogue same thing on the Crime channels deafening music and not able to hear what is being said!

It would be better if Dragons'Den were taken off now.Since Theo Paphitis left the programme it hasn't been worth watching.I realise its their own money they're investing but lets have someone who isn't on an ego trip or ritually says I'm out or will only invest if someone else does.

It was much better when it started, the Dragons where more willing to help, mentor them really.

The last few series, they want them to have done everything, got everything up and running and making lots of money before they want to jump on board and take half the profits.

By the time the candidates have got to that stage they don't really need them, most of them need mentoring more than the money.

In which case why did they go on a show looking for venture capital ? I caught a bit of the show last night whilst flicking through channels prior to turning out the light. Seemed much the same as when I last caught it. The business owners are supposed to know their business and their market yet don't always indicate that for whatever reason; which doesn't make them a good bet. The investors still offer contacts, distribution, whatever. But they are investors first, not nursemaids.

I read a review of the new format in which it was compared to the X Factor with its sob stories. Pleased I didn't watch.

OG - I am sure most of them do know their businesses but with a camera crew and 5 Dragons eyes burning in to you I am not surprised some of them go to pieces.

I've met a few business people who've been on the show and were left humiliated by the Dragons. Despite that, they are now very successful. I also know another who, although desperate for investment, turned down the offer of going on the programme as he knew it was all about "entertainment" nowadays.

I agree Caribeing, I have been watching DD since it started, but last Sundays was a bit like the x factor with the bloke saying he had been homeless etc, and the lady crying.

I just cant see the yoga board selling to the public (was it £400 quid?) or even gyms, as its only a block/platform that you could make up at home, and like most keep fit contraptions will just fade away.

As far as the new Dragons go, its to early to say yet, but at least that rude ignorant Jock has gone.

The bloke that was turned down with his untangle hair brush, has a turnover of 6 million now, and the Jock took the pee out of him.
