Hair colour allergy

I have recently become allergic to hair dye. My scalp explodes covering my head with blisters and scabs, wherever it touches my skin.

I went to the doctors and he told me to use a vegetable dye and wouldn't give me an allergy test.

I tried a vegetable dye with the same result.

Henna won't take to my hair and the appearing grey is driving me mad. (I'm 32).

The only colour I can put on is L'oreal Pulse, but as that washes out after 8 washes, I need to find something more permanent.

Any ideas?

Go and see a reputable hairdresser.  They will surely have encountered this before and will be only too glad to be of help to you.
