Plenty of Muslims fought (and died) WITH the allies in WW2.

Many of our old "Empire" countries like India and so on supported the fight against the Germans, Italy and Japan.

Fair point, well made birdie but I think we're straying away from the point slightly. redvanman's assertions are borne from prejudice whereas yours are from experience. I don't think anyone's saying any particular group or people are all good or all bad but should be judged (if judging is necessary) individually. Though I cross swords with an intellectual GIANT as redvanman with extreme caution I do think he has a lot to learn when dealing with people (and the English language come to that, eg 'brave men that fought', men are people not things - 'men WHO fought') but possibly with attention to detail and the odd wrap across his knuckles he'll learn.
