I will be in Amman for a week in mid November.
Q1 What can I do there, where can I meet people?
I have seen other sites outside Amman - Petra, Jerash, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Dead Sea......
Q2 How can I get to Dana in cheap way, as it's difficult to afford a driver guide on my own?

To get to Dana you'll need to take a bus to Qadisya and then make your way from there (Wikitravel suggests that the locals will drive you there cheaply).

Petra is a must. I have always wanted to visit there but its unlikely that I will do so now. Enjoy it on my behalf Pikot !
