Yes.......... Don't. :-)
Yes, good luck, TTT - It's the 12th year I am doing it....and I have always felt better after it/

This year I am combining it with my min-carbs diet and hope to remove the 3 pounds from Christmas and a stone, 1.5 pounds off already.......

Once you get through the first 5 days it becomes easier.....Ibuprofen for any residual headaches, some treats for the weekend if there is something that you like, such as a fav cheese or dessert.
Not me. I won't be able to sleep, and life's too short anyway.

Not me.
Moi. I am signed up to Dry January, but plan to continue to 10 February to give liver a full 6 weeks rest. No withdrawal symptoms or cravings. 1/5th of the way through.
same as you, carpy, I didn't start until yesterday as a family friend treated me to an excellent pheasant and Bordeaux on Wednesday to finish of Candlemas...I will run through to the end of Feb, as I did last year.
Well this should liven up a few debates on News. :-)
well done DTC. I could have failed at 8.30 am on January 1st when I found I had left a full glass of wine on the dining table! After a brief battle with my conscience I poured it down the sink......
Did it last year. Not doing it this year. Does that tell you anything?
Why not Zacs? Too difficult, no benefits, something else?
nope im gonna guzzle more lol

Just look at your Avatar. Could you imagine approval?

// I neither want it (Brandy) nor need it, but I should think it pretty hazardous to interfere with the ineradicable habit of a lifetime//

// No one can say I ever failed to display a meet, and proper appreciation of alcohol//

Not for me...TTT.....since 2008 I have lived my life as if I'm to die tomorrow.......so if I gave up my pre dinner glass of red for January and died on Feb 1st I'd be miffed.......but good luck.....x
