Advice On Dating Site Username, Preferably From A Female's Perspective.

Decided I have nothing to lost by joining a dating site but I am scared of sabotaging my own profile. I tried looking at the profiles of other men for ideas but all of the men in the area are creeps. I'm probably over thinking it as my female friends who have met someone through the site say that they didn't even look at usernames but I don't want to come across as boring.

You could use the username batfan. Thats not a boring interest. Not too many of folk with such an interest. But the ladies here could probably give you better tips.

the name batfan is what I use for online gaming and is a reference to Batman. In the past girls have never been put off by me being a geek but some have said it would usually be a put off if it was the first thing they heard about me.

No to the "bat" name for starters!

Why not a shortened version of your surname? Or even an acronym of it? Or even something dull and safe like your first name and DOB?
