The Independent Crossword And Sudoku ? Withdrawal Symptoms ?

Is anyone else suffering today from acute withdrawal symptoms ?
It was a Saturday tradition for many years that I would start the jumbo crossword and sudoku on a Saturday lunchtime and " dip " in and out of both all weekend a and the ultimate aim of completing both ready to post on a Tuesday morning !
Bereft today , mooching around and looking for mental stimulation ! Does anyone recommend a stimulating alternative newspaper challenge ?

Me too. The i have taken over the Inquisitor crossword from the Saturday Independent. I'm sure if enough people asked them for it they could publish the Jumbo. We used to solve it as a family as everyone had their own bits of general knowledge - even the kids, when there was something about computer games. I've already written to Oly Duff the editor. Maybe if you do too and get your friends to do the same we don't have to go cold turkey.

Thanks folks - will take a look at the times , yes I considered getting the I today but didn't fancy the crossword in there , here's hoping for the jumbo into the I , I won the link question once , best chocolates ever !!

The Telegraph has a good general knowledge crossword (with prizes) every Saturday and a linked crossword called Herculis the following Monday.
