Small Statuette That Looks Like A Buddha.

In one hand prayer beads, in the other a bag which looks it's meant to represent money. The figure is smiling but the Buddha would have been the first to say that money doesn't buy happiness.
Who might it be?

Assuming you are going to St James of Compostella, then it might be an image of the saint himself, the bag being the pilgrim's scrip.
