The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) made up of a network of a minimum of 24, but currently 30, satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense. The GPS satellite data works anywhere in the world, so it would appear that Space Exploration has done its job.
Useless implements when you can read a map......
Extremely difficult to read a map whilst driving without taking ages to plot and write down a route in advance.
Wasn't planning on driving out to Mars: especially on Easter bank holiday.
