Thanks to all who helped me with my application to be let off doing jury duty. I eventually got a letter from my doctor to support my application. I got an email this morning confirming that I will not have to do jury duty.

The letter from my long-suffering GP makes me sound like a really nutty person - like a Crazy Cat Lady or something.

Mamy - he knows me too well.
Seriously, glad it's sorted.

Purrfect.
Really? I had you down as one of the saner contributors here.
A nutty, crazy cat lady???.....As if....he must have got you mixed up with another patient, Wolf..... ;-)

Glad it's all sorted for you.....x
I did jury service in the late 70's, and quite enjoyed the whole experience. I wouldn't mind if they called me again.
Glad you were able to avoid it. I did it last December, am not in a rush to do it again.
Pleased you're now exempt Susan :-)

Thanks all, I was actually concerned that I might have to stay awake all day without a nap or have to stop talking for more than ten minutes.
