The Destruction Of Answerbank.
19 Answers
Oh what a shame that Answerbank, once so user friendly, has changed for God alone knows what reason, into this crazy format that is like inviting toothache.
Just a quick browse is enough to send me elsewhere, saddened by the loss of what was once an active and interesting site.
Reply if you like but I doubt if I have the patience to waste time on this format when other sites are so much more user friendly. Hello to all my old fiends. X X X

It's certainly not the site I joined years ago but the world has changed and people have changed (or let their guard slip in some cases).
I had a wee scoot aboot some of the other sites available and Answerbank is doing okay by comparison.
All you need to do is learn the ropes and know who to ignore for your own sanity.

trt, Theland was here on a daily basis in ‘the olden days’, one of the ‘regulars’, a great contributor, and a lot of fun.
Do please have a look at this – just one of many examples:

It’s what the Religion & Spirituality section used to be like – deliciously daft - when we weren’t being serious and throwing well-aimed custard pies at each other! Apart from Mibn2cweus, I don’t know if anyone else is still here who will remember all of that ––but them woz indeed the days! (I’m the Daobi mentioned, by the way). :o)
I don’t know why Theland became grumpy, but it was long before the new format came into being. Such a shame. They really were very happy days.

what twaddle - the new site is clearer to read and use; there are things I don't like too, such as the font in the question and answer boxes being too small and the latter could be more clearly defined, visually. Otherwise it is fine.
Perhaps it's not so good on steam-driven machines like IBM series 1 or Apple 2Es......?
