But mainly I just wanted to say: have you glanced at the comments section for that article? In particular Atilla41's delightful contribution...

jim; I seldom read comments at the foot of articles , but because you asked I did so, you must have searched hard because it was well down, why did you single that out?
A stupid entry, but it does say above the comments;
"The opinions of our commenters do not necessarily represent the opinions of Taki's Magazine or its contributors."
This particular contributor, Patrick Buchanan, has been a senior advisor to three Presidents, twice a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination and I'm sure he wouldn't approve of it either

Sometimes you can tell a lot about a site from the kind of person it attracts -- still, you've condemned said comment and there's an end to that sidetrack.
I can't say I knew much about Buchanan before, say, ten minutes ago. Actually that's not entirely true, I knew that he was involved in the 2000 US election (and may have messed up Al Gore's chances of winning Florida, but that's another story), but that was basically it.
Judging from a flick-through of Buchanan's politics, I think he sees in Trump a kindred spirit, and that's where this article is coming from. Not sure it's anything more profound than that, really.
