... other people's, of yourself. I find lately when shopping & arriving at the till, I get, hiya lovee or ... alright dear, I assume it's my grey hair? I find myself saying in my head, hey, I've just cleaned the equivalent of a small cinema area. So perceptions, whether that's hair, the way you dress, tattoos, what's your experiences positive or negative of what people make of you just on appearance? Also, do you ever use other people's perceptions of you to your own advantage?

Perception on appearance is hard to answer as I'm quite high-maintenance and focussed on make-up, clothes etc. I've always been considered stuck-up and stand-offish mainly due to looks and speaking voice. I've over compensated for that by being friendly, especially to other women. Strangers are usually very nice to me.
Eleena - I think what makes it harder for me when it comes to neighbours is the fact I'm clumsy and have dodgy eyesight...so when I walk down the street I tend to look at the floor to avoid any trip hazards and I think people see that as though I'm avoiding eye contact.
Had a cracker once, phoned a company (in my capacity as get them to pay) who owed my company some dosh, stoopid coo didn't press the correct button on the phone and I heard every single word she said.
Oh, the joy of repeating it verbatim to the owner of the company.
I can understand that, I have a fear of falling on uneven pavement and knocking my front teeth in, could well be it's taken the wrong way, hadn't considered that before.
