I abhor fox hunting, hare coursing, bull slaughtering ( cannot really call it fighting) veal production and the process of force feeding poultry for that posh foire grasse, whatever it is called.
Mikey..to see individuals getting 'off' on this 'sport' leaves me worried...and believe me many of the workers in an un-monitored Halal slaughter house come a very close second.
I dislike most forms of bull-fighting intensely (there are some places where it is pure spectacle and the bull is unharmed, only the human is at risk) but I could not wish for anyone to die, even though this man was involved in barbarism (i.m.o.p.).
....because it was another difficult question for you. No change there! You do make me laugh. :o)
Had anyone here ever actually been to a bullfight? I have. Spectacular, dramatic, colourful ..... the music and pageantry simply wonderful ... if only it wasn't so incredibly cruel - and it is - it really is. I cried my heart out. There can be no excuse for it ... whatsoever.
Jourdain, on the assurance that the bull is unharmed, I also saw a bullfight in Portugal. True the Portuguese don't kill the bull - but make no mistake, it suffers.
