Surprised no-one has seen - or chosen to comment on - the C4 program where Cathy Newman interviews Dr Jordan Peterson. It's attracted a lot of YouTube attention (you can find the full interview there). Here's a snippet:

I had noticed this spat reported in the news but didn’t really take much notice. Your clip above sent me to watch the full interview, and it was very good.

I thought both interviewer and interviewee were excellent, so I am at a loss to see why it inspired so many to resort to hate mail against the Channel Four presented.

That is the opposite to the interview itself which was conducted in a very grown up and erudite fashion.

Unfortunately your question (if it is one) falls into the same category as the hate mail. It should not be about taking sides and supporting the Professorand saying he ‘won’ the interview. It was an exchange of ideas, and Newman extracted some good answers from him. In my opinion, that was a win-win for both parties.
