I am an undergraduate student, and am enjoying my summer break:) This morning, a professor sent me an email asking if I am able to contact one of my best friends because he has not replied four recent professor's emails. I texted him, and he immediately replied me back: "Thanks for telling me. It is impossible for me to check my email because I am sick." I was a little shocked and curious how bad his sickness is. He then said, "Nothing to worry about! I have only had a sore throat for 3 days" Now, I assume he is just a lazy guy who barely check emails -- even he is now in college -- and makes up nonsense excuses. What do people think?

Perhaps he does not think it is important that people can contact him 24/7. Perhaps he feels that what he is doing is no one elses business. Perhaps he is catching up with work and doesn't want to be disturbed. Perhaps you should ask him rather than ask total strangers .......just saying!
