Thursday. A bit cooler this morning. The sky is clear and Sol is coming over the hilltop. gonna be another hot one! Snowflake is lying tight alongside my thigh, fast asleep. Tiggy MkII was out and about last night, getting more settled by the day, eating the food I put out.

Just the usual running around this morning, should be done by 0900.

G'day mate. We haven't had any rain for quite sometime now. We're enjoying a proper summer, haven't had one of them for a few years too!

After 0900? No idea. I'm sure something will occur. Some weeds thet need pulling, some stuff to go to the tip, but I'll leave that until Snowflake goes home on Tuesday. I can prepare it ready to fit into the car to be ready though. That's an hour or two sorted!

Just tired, WBM. He's having to start work much earlier because heat is affecting productivity.

It's a bonus that he gets to finish earlier but waking so early is a killer.

Yes. That's understandable. It throws the body clock out the window and it's not easy to adjust. Get a lot of that in the forces.

I'm not sleeping great anyway due to the heat. OH and son are still sleeping like nobody's business.

On a positive note, lots of viewings lined up for this weekend. Sadly though, following an extensive and widening search, nothing that's for sale out there takes our fancy.

A lot going on at the same time NM. I'd be surprised if you weren't feeling permanently tired. I know it's easier said than done, but you need as much rest as you can get for quite some time to come.

A successful shopping trip yesterday to Braintree Freeport - successful in that I spent nearly 3 hours in the cinema watching Oceans 8 (good film that).

Our lady coach driver remarked that there was only me and one other male on the trip. 'Well' I said, 'Who's going to change the wheel if we get a puncture?' (I was allowed on the coach for the trip back even after that comment.)
