Horse Racing

A part of our British culture, but watched five minutes of the Cheltenham racing today.
Am not a fan.
Struck me that it is nothing more than cat food on legs.
Rather cruel.
We could live without it, or at least retire the horses to a decent rest home.

Bet against my own team? I'd sooner drive rusty nails through my dangly bits with a 9lb lump hammer. The bet is not important, it is the 3 points. As Togo says, even when you know they will be beat, you do not back against your own team. I usually back us to win 2-1, though when we play any of the big 6 away, i go for both teams to score and a draw.

I never ever bet on my own team...ever.
I won 150 quid by betting against my own team today :o(
