Well it seems people are likely to stay inside due to knife crime, it's not something that's going to get people on the streets rioting, is it... you know, in case they get stabbed.

To be fair the Police are in an awkward situation on this, dammed if they do dammed if they dont.

And with the Duggan debacle going on who can blame them for being cautious with crowds? Chief Constable probably doesn't want his collar felt in 30 years time if anything goes wrong so he's taking no chance.

The inflammatory language presumably goes both ways, so I will expect Remainers to be arrested too.
