Paula Radcliffe Apologises For Transphobic Comment.

She'd previously criticised the decision by sports' councils to allow women with penises to compete in "women's" sports.
She's agreed to accept counselling, and has offered to do voluntary work at a sex-reassignment clinic.

I'm not calling VE a liar, just asking for a link to verify what he's on about because I'm not in the habit of commenting opinions on things when I have half the facts or possibly in this case, no facts at all.
I wonder how it feels to belong to one of the (increasing number of) groups whom no one is permitted to offend.
Paula R didn't say that she disliked trans athletes, or that they were bad. She expressed an opinion about the difficulty of running "fair" athletics events.
Take, for instance, athletes who "identify" with a different gender. What is Usain Bolt decided to identify as a woman. Would other women sprinters be happy to let him run with them (when, in the 200m, he would beat the world's fastest woman by 2.2secs ... about 20metres).
It's difficult. But, with someone like Paula R, the sports authorities should say ... "That's your opinion, but we don't share that opinion". Instead, they feel the need to artificially demonstrate some imaginary politically correct credentials, so that they can tick a box against their compulsory non-discrimination policy, and they do so by burning the witch Paula Radcliffe at the stake.
Before we know it, they will be sticking an elasticated carrot on the nose, Monty Python style.

But none of this is true Jayne, VE jus made up the ridiculous headline for his own amusement. Paul Radcliffe is entitled to think as she does as long as she expresses her opinions respectfully, and she hasn't apologised.
See what I mean Spicey? Trump, King of Fake News, understands the power of just writing whatever you fancy, and he's thick as pig *** :) x

spicey, I thought for a moment it was going to be the start of something big.
But re. Paula peeing or whatever, racing cyclists (and I was once one) and long distance runners take on lots of water and have to get rid of some of it, and the cameramen, in the Tour de France etc. like all well-mannered people do not ever dwell on these moments
It wasn't Paula's fault, just like all the other competitors, when she had to 'go'. It was bad-judgement on behalf of the cameraman and the producer to show it, I would have sacked him.
Honi soit qui mal y pense
