Fiat Bravo Music Centre
3 Answers
Hi guys
I've got an X Reg low mileage Fiat Bravo (top car) with built in Radio/Cassette/6 CD Player. Wee problem - the music centre keeps turning itself off (and not necessarily on uneven road surfaces), then turns itself back on a few moments later but always goes back to where it was (radio station/cd track etc). I've checked the fuse - that was clean, cleaned the heads on the CD player, cleaned the CD's themselves, no joy. Any ideas ?

anyway it got worse and i presumed it was heat as the unit would get very hot very quickly, i since have changed cars and have had no problems with the same unit so i presume it was the fuses of some sort, or just some dodgy wiring from the ignition to the centre console.

Thanks KS. The unit doesn't get hot though like yours did but I'm guessing it's a dodgy connection somewhere, which is going to be nice and difficult to get at ! As I mentioned, I'd already checked the fuse in case it was a dirty fuse, but it looked clean. Haven't tried hitting it - not angry enough yet. Glad to know I'm not cracking up though.
